Stratio Release 1.0.0

It has been a long way. A lot of effort and hard work has been poured in this project. Finally the wait is over…Today Stratio is proud to announce the release 1.0.0 of the Stratio Big Data platform based on Spark! This release has been focused on stability and performance. It includes the following new features and improvements:


  • Added new alert system. Alerts can be delivered via email to the administrator.
  • New installation wizard: user can choose which technology to install in a particular node. An installation recommendation is proposed based on the number of nodes.
  • New interface: Global status panel shows the status of every technology.
  • System metrics persistence decoupled from the selected persistence technology.
  • Added Elasticsearch as an option of persistence technology.
  • Option to choose regions when installing in Amazon.
  • Validation system to install and manage technologies.
  • Feature to check technology logs.
  • Feature to perform Cassandra snapshots.
  • Option to install Stratio Connectors.
  • Support for new Operating Systems: Ubuntu 14.10 and CentOS 6.6.
  • Amazon AMI’s updated.
  • Stack components are installed from Stratio’s repositories using deb and rpm packages.
  • Bug fixing and optimizations
