Stratio renews ISO 27001:2013 certificate and achieves the highest level of Spain’s National Security Scheme certification, proving once again our commitment to information security management.

We are honored to announce that Stratio has renewed its ISO 27001:2013 certificate and upgraded the National Security Scheme certification to the maximum level of compliance. Both certifications represent the world’s most distinguished information security management standards and are designed to demonstrate that Stratio has appropriate and effective controls to prevent and manage multitude of cyber security threats and risks, ensuring confidentiality, integrity, traceability, authenticity and availability of information at all times.

ISO 27001:2013 is an international standard promoted by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) and the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC). This regulation seeks to implement an Information Security Management System (ISMS) that allows us to more effectively protect the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of business information to our customers.

In addition the National Security Scheme is a Spanish regulation emanated from Royal Decree 311/2022, which is mandatory for companies who provide services or provide solutions to Spanish public sector entities for the exercise of their administrative powers and competences.

As part of the certification process, the third-party auditors, including British Standards Institute (BSI) and Audertis Audit Services (AUDERTIS)  thoroughly assessed Stratio’s Information Security Management System (ISMS) to ensure it meets rigorous requirements. These certifications allow us to prove our commitment to the information security and, in the case of the Spanish public administration, meet the requirements specified in the public sector tenders.

In a changing and technologically disruptive world there is one thing we can’t compromise on: the security of our information. And sometimes it is not enough to do the best we can, we have to do what is necessary to prove it. “

Oscar Mendez-Soto, CEO and Founder of Stratio

Jose Manuel Ruiz, COO of Stratio

In a constantly evolving digital world, cybersecurity is not only a responsibility, it is a mentality. Therefore, obtaining two of the most important certifications in the field helps us demonstrate that mentality and commitment to information security.”
